Vintage Chenille bedspreadI have many early and vintage chenille bedspreads including Cabin Crafts, Bates, Morgan Jones and others in stock so if your looking for a special cotton vintage chenille bedspread please contact me if you don't see it. I'm constantly buying more and will be adding more at regular intervals. I look for quality spreads to add all the time. I'm limited to few pictures of each spread so if you need more just ask. If you have dealt with other sellers and you were less than pleased with what you got compared to the description, I know where you are coming from. I examine my spreads very closely and feel I do a pretty good job of describing them. If I say there is one hole, you aren't going to get it and find 15 holes. Anything I accidentally misrepresent is fully returnable and those are few and far between. I hold my bedspreads to the light and examine them from the back looking for any imperfections. This is my all time favorite peacock spread with the legs, I call it funky peacock. It's in the best colors you could find too, aqua and pink. Gotta love this strutting guy. It's plush, soft and of substantial weight. It measures 88" x 104" and is pictured on a king size bed but more suitable for a full or queen size with a bed skirt. It's in excellent condition with no loss of chenille or damage. I freshly laundered this and there were a few light yellowish stains on the back, I treated them and they got lighter but are still visible if you look for them on the back, not noticeable from the front at all. This beauty is priced at 250.00
This vintage chenille bedspread just screams feel me. It's a tagged Normandy spread in white and purple. I think the purple is a shade darker in the pics than it actually is but it's stunning. It measures 89" x 100" not including an additional 4 1/2" fringe so can be used on a full or a queen but you might need a bed skirt. I have some purple bed skirts also. It's in excellent condition with no noticed damage or stains. It's just as full and soft as you could wish for and priced at 95.00
This tagged Cabin Crafts vintage chenille bedspread is just beautiful with uncut tufts of flowers, vines and leaves, and lots of grapes thrown in. It measures 74" x 102" with an additional 5" fringe on 3 sides bringing the measurement to 84" x 107". It is in very good condition with a tiny bit of loss on one flower, not noticeable but mentioned. There are a few very small stains on it that I haven't tried to remove. If you are interested in it let me know and I will treat and launder. If it's not perfect then I'll adjust the price but I'm sure I can remove them. Priced at 145.00
This 100% cotton vintage chenille bedspread is a lighter weight one with blue squiggles and pink and yellow flowers with green leaves. It's in excellent condition with no noticed damage. It measures 89" x 98", suitable for a full size or queen size bed with bed skirt. It's pictured on a king size. Priced at 60.00
This vintage chenille bedspread is in a nice floral pattern with blue accents. It measures 90" x 102". It's fairly heavy and in very nice condition. I saw one missing tuft in the pillow tuck area where they always got karate chopped while making the bed. Also I saw one 1/2 the size of a pencil eraser stain that I missed treating before I washed it. Next time it has to be laundered you can touch it with a bleach pen, it's on the white. Actually I'm so anal I'll probably do that and spot wash it. Priced at 70.00 SOLD
This is another beauty with all needle tufted flowers and pops radiating from the center circle. I would call the backing color a dusty rose with dusty rose and white chenille. The flowers are in pink & white and blue, the leaves are a sage green. This is one eye appealing vintage chenille bedspread. It measures 90" x 104" and I couldn't find a thing wrong with it. It's light weight but not thin, the backing is strong. Priced at 125.00
This full size vintage chenille bedspread, all cotton, measures 88" x 101" and is a beauty. This is a nice early one from the 40's with a terrific blue on white design. This is heavy with chenille and in beautiful condition. On close inspection I found one tiny hole near the pillow tuck which could be stitched up with about 4 stitches, very small. Priced at $75.00
This cotton chenille spreads dates itself with the strong Deco appearance. The size is full measuring 88" x 103". The colors are a little hard to describe but I'll try. The backing is a reddish brown chocolate color but a little more reddish than chocolate. Most of the chenille is also the same color but there are boarders of orange around it with the dark burgundy accents and pink flowers. I can send more pics if you want but could only put a couple on the site. It's a striking beauty. I couldn't find anything wrong with this spread from the front but upon turning it over there is some fading on the back that doesn't come through to the front. Stated for accuracy only. The chenille is full and close and this spread is sure to keep anyone warm. Priced at $85.00
This is a beautiful pink hand made vintage chenille bedspread. It is probably from the 1930's or early 40's, pre machine made. It features squares of large and small pops. It measures 92" x 102". It has 4 very small holes all on the edges, none showing on the top of the bed. The 2 largest holes are about 1/8" with the 2 other ones being pin holes. I had a similar spread a few years ago, must have been made in this area of the country. It's light weight and gently faded all over. There is still a lot of wear left and it's quite large, could even be used sideways on a king size bed. Priced at a very reasonable price (due to the flaws) of $60.00
This soft heavy pink bedspread is just about all you could ask for in pink. It has floral circles and deep white and pink chenille on a heavy backing. It measures 86" x 100" and is displayed on a king size bed but is more suitable for a full size bed. It's in excellent condition with the exception of one tiny hole near the bottom of the front drop, you really have to look for it and I will stitch it up for you if requested. I won't call it a pin hole but it isn't much bigger. Priced at 85.00
