Vintage Chenille bedspreadI have many early and vintage chenille bedspreads including Cabin Crafts, Bates, Morgan Jones and others in stock so if your looking for a special cotton vintage chenille bedspread please contact me if you don't see it. I'm constantly buying more and will be adding more at regular intervals. I look for quality spreads to add all the time. I'm limited to few pictures of each spread so if you need more just ask. If you have dealt with other sellers and you were less than pleased with what you got compared to the description, I know where you are coming from. I examine my spreads very closely and feel I do a pretty good job of describing them. If I say there is one hole, you aren't going to get it and find 15 holes. Anything I accidentally misrepresent is fully returnable and those are few and far between. I hold my bedspreads to the light and examine them from the back looking for any imperfections. This is a 100% cotton double peacock spread in white with red peacock and hearts. It's plush, soft and of substantial weight. It measures 89" x 98" and is pictured on a king size bed but more suitable for a full or queen size with a bed skirt. It's in excellent condition with no holes or damage, the chenille is thick and after close inspection I found about 3 tufts of white chenille missing in three different places, one tuft each, nothing noticeable but called to be accurate. The red is all red, no fading, it the lighting that makes it appear that way in the photos. They don't get much better than this. I freshly laundered this and it's ready to adorn a bed in red. This beauty is priced at 185.00
This vintage chenille bedspread is all hand tufted and heavily at that. It's just slightly off white and in wonderful condition. I looked it over many times and all I could find was some tiny spots on the side drop down by the pillow area pictured in the last pic. They would probably come out with a bleach pen but I hate to wash them for no reason as this was freshly washed before I purchased it. It measures 86" x 98" with no fringe. It's on a sturdy backing and priced at 150.00
This tagged Cabin Crafts vintage chenille bedspread is just beautiful with uncut tufts of flowers, vines and leaves, and lots of grapes thrown in. It measures 74" x 102" with an additional 5" fringe on 3 sides bringing the measurement to 84" x 107". It is in very good condition with a tiny bit of loss on one flower, not noticeable but mentioned. There are a few very small stains on it that I haven't tried to remove. If you are interested in it let me know and I will treat and launder. If it's not perfect then I'll adjust the price but I'm sure I can remove them. Priced at 145.00
When they were making this one they just wanted to keep tufting away it looks like. It is all hand made with hand tied fringe. It's in excellent condition with no noticed damage of any kind. It measures 82" x 98", plus a 4 1/1" fringe on three sides, suitable for a full size or queen size bed with bed skirt. It's pictured on a king size. Priced at 85.00
This vintage chenille bedspread is in a nice floral pattern with blue bows and flowers on white. It measures 88" x 102". It's medium and in excellent condition with no noticed damage of any kind. Priced at 75.00
I don't have to examine this one with a fine tooth comb, the original paper tag was still stapled to it when I got it. It's never been used. It did need a serious laundering which I gave it due to storage stains. Now it's pristine. The tag reads "Fashion Manor" chenille bedspread Lot 12A, approx size 86 x 105 J. C. Penny Co, Inc. On the reverse side is the washing instructions which are hand wash, YEA RIGHT, not in this lifetime. Don't rub, twist or wring. Can't imagine who wrote those instructions. Anyway back to the bedspread, it's fluffy, full of chenille and as soft as you could hope for. It actually measures about 82" by 100" with no fringe. Probably for a 3/4 size bed but will work on a full size with bed skirt. The backing color is a soft creamy white with strong peach accents and large flowers. It's got it's whole life in front of it and it's ready to use. Priced at 75.00
This vintage all cotton chenille bedspread has double peacocks in purple and several other colors on the body with 2 small peacocks on the top. It's in beautiful condition with no thinning of the chenille. After close inspection from the back holding it to the light I found one tiny pin hole on the bottom drop down probably from a small dog or cat trying to get on the bed. It measures 90" x 100" and will work on a full or queen size bed with bed skirt. There is no fringe and I would call this a medium/heavy weight. Priced at 175.00
This cotton chenille spread features a pink basket of flowers with blue, yellow and greens. The way they put the chenille on at angles also gives it more texture. It's large measuring 91" x 100" which will work on a full size or queen size bed with bed skirt. It's in very good condition with no thinning of the chenille. The only thing to call is a pin hole on either side drop down where a small dog or cat probably tried to get on the bed. I look all my spreads over good so there are no misunderstandings and call even the smallest flaw I see but it by no means makes it a cutter. Priced at 85.00
This is a beautiful heavyweight vintage chenille bedspread in superb condition. The design on this one is very delightful too. The border colors are dark rose and dusty rose with the flowers being multi colored and the backing white. It measures 88" by 102" with no damage, loss of chenille, or stains. I love the lines of this bedspread so shabby vintage. Not that it's shabby at all, very nice condition, no missing chenille or damage or it would have been a robe instead. The backing is white with nice strong blue accenting. Multi colored flowers to top it off. It measures 88" x 98". I did see two tiny spots, almost look like paint but very small and on the drop down so not noticeable. Priced at 75.00
