This vintage chenille bedspread sure looks like a Hofmann but it isn't tagged. I call it the hugs and kisses one as they look like x's and o's in the design. The fringe on this one is quite solid and is white with some off white in it but I'm sure it's original, you don't notice it when it's on the bed. I took the measurements including the fringe on this one as it's not see through, 95" x 106". I'd like to say it perfect but it does have one very small hole almost dead center in the spread. I actually took a picture of it but you can't see it in the picture, I don't know why. The color is a soft baby blue and it's missing no chenille. Priced at $150.00
This vintage all cotton chenille bedspread is heavy with chenille. It's pink too. This was made for a twin size bed measuring 82" x 100". On the right side drop are some yellowish stains and in the center (pictured) you can see a slight fold stain. There are no holes or loss of chenille, a very heavy spread. I haven't had time to soak this one to see if I can remove the stains so I'm pricing it at a low 35.00.
Offered here is a tagged Retrac. This vintage chenille bedspread is medium/heavy weight and in very good condition with no noticed damage. It measures 90" x 103". It doesn't have a lot of flowers but the design is a great one with mop style uncut tufts of different colors mixed in with cut tufts. A very pretty, good quality spread priced at 65.00
This is an extremly soft slightly off white vintage chenille bedspread. It is displayed on a king size bed sideways measuring 90" x 101". If used as intended the dots would be going the other way. I just did it this way to show you how it would work on a king size bed. It's in excellent condition and ready to use, no noticed damage. I would consider this a medium weight but fully tufted for warmth. Priced at 55.00
I love the squiggle type design on this baby blue chenille bedspread. I had one in white single size once but I sure haven't seen many of this style. It has a cute little uncut mop type fringe around three sides and measures a whopping 95" x 107". It's also in perfect condition as far as I can see. This big beauty is priced at 125.00.
This heavy vintage chenille bedspread is just striking with the big blue bow and bunch of flowers. It one of those you like to feel all the time with lush chenille. It measures 90" x 101" and is in beautiful condition. I noticed about 3 tiny holes on the edges, probably from a cat or dog claw but not even really big enough to mend (I will if you want me to). There are also 3 yellow stains showing on the back side, not noticeable from the front unless you pull back the heavy chenille. Clean, crisp, and ready to put on your bed. Priced at $75.00
Basket of flower spreads are one of my favorites and this one can join the list of them. It's medium heavy weight with lots of chenille (no loss) and no noticed damage. It measures approximately 90" x 100" and would work on a full size bed or queen with bed skirt (don't forget to look at my new chenille for bed skirts). After washing it, while folding it, I noticed a yellow spot on the back, not noticeable from the front. Priced at $75.00
This vintage chenille bedspread is done on a heavy seersucker background fabric. It strong and sturdy. It is meant for a single or twin size bed measuring 72" by 101". The seersucker is a very light mint green with mostly white tufting. It is in excellent condition with no noted damage to call. It's priced at 45.00
How dated is this chenille spread? You have to love it. I'm going to say it's more for display than use as it wasn't an expensive spread in the first place. It had a small repair on the top which showed next to a pink flower. I appliqued 3 more two tone pink flowers on the spread. One was to cover the repair, the other for balance and #3 for good luck. There is sporadic missing chenille, I pictured one area, not bad but has to be called. The background is white, there is an aqua strip on the outside border and of course the pink poodle. This is clean and free from stains. It measures 72" x 102". Priced at 110.00 (I might be a little nuts but I love it)
