I have many early and vintage cutter chenille bedspreads in stock so if your looking for a special cotton chenille bedspread please contact me if you don't see it. I just don't have enough time to put them all on. Just the chenille fabric is worth the cost. These are all cotton unless otherwise noted. Click on the pictures to enlarge. I'm a little reluctant to put this vintage chenille bedspread on the cutter page as it's very usable. The problems I found with it are: it must have had some kind of fringe and that has been trimmed off all the way around the scalloped edges and I found about a 2" area near the very top on the bottom of the drop down that has some spatter stains that look almost like mildew spots but I don't think they will come out. This was freshly washed when I purchased it and I didn't want to subject it to another needless washing. It's a breathtaking hand made spread in a lovely peach shade. I couldn't bring myself to cut it. It measures approximately 83" x 100". Priced at 75.00
Where's the other half? Appears to be half of a bedspread, measuring 48" x 100" with a 2" square cut out of one corner. It's beautiful and fully covered with full chenille. No damage anywhere and squiggles all over the place. Priced at 100.00
THE FIRST TWO SETS ARE SOLD OUT AND ONLY ONE OR TWO OF THE THIRD AND FOURTH SET LEFT.I'm putting together a few fabrics for making a quilt. There are 6 pieces of fabric in each kit, each measuring 18" x 24" (fat quarter). There is usually a little extra on most of them but not always. They are all in good condition, if I do find a tiny imperfection I put in an extra piece so you won't loose a square. I finally went through my spreads, bought a lot more and have some nice sets to add. The yellow rose bud and yellow and purple rosebud are not Morgan Jones but are very vintage English spreads I had shipped over (they are pretty awesome and you won't find either of them anywhere else). They are beautiful and very similar to MJ but have aqua leaves not green. The blue, pink, and white rosebuds are Morgan Jones. I also have a lot of Hofmann, Cabin Craft, and other Morgan Jones pieces included in these sets. I'm going to refer to these sets of fabrics as quilt kits and they are all priced at 45.00 a set, some of these fabrics sell for 20.00 for one piece. I spend a lot of time trying to find compatible pieces but if there is one or two fabrics you really don't like in a set I'll be glad to try and find something you do like and change them. I have a lot of different pieces I haven't put in these sets. Still have more to add but it will be a while.
This kit for a quilt is pre cut 5 inch squares. I've put in some of the great English rose bud fabric, a lot of Morgan Jones fabric, and some great flowers. There are 42 squares and a choice of border, light aqua, purple or darker aqua. The colors are yellow, purple, and aqua mostly. Anyone who cuts squares knows a lot of the work in making these is cutting accurate squares and I guarantee these are accurate or I will send you more to replace any you aren't satisfied with at my own cost. If you want it bigger, I can also come up with more of the same squares you see, for additional cost or you can add some of your own. The wonderful soft border hasn't been cut yet so that can also be made bigger. This kit is 45.00
This hand made chenille cutter could be used also. I haven't taken the time to clean any of these so most will need cleaning first. It has a couple of dark stains in the white area, one I'm sure will come out as it is bird poop, I know the bird that did it. I'm not sure what the other one is. There are 2 tiny pin holes on one corner, otherwise just dingy looking. It measures 75" x 102" and is light weight. Priced at 22.00
This is another hand made one in as found condition. The backing is pretty heavy for this type of spread but it has storage stains which will treat out I'm sure, just don't have the time. It's more gray than white but should be white. There are 2 shades of pink pops and there is some fading to some of them, mostly on one side. It measures 92" x 106", very large for this type of spread. I just held it to the light and found a couple of pin holes on the foot drop of the bed, not seen till held to the light. Priced at 15.00
