Chenille jackets
soft & warm

I'm constantly making chenille jackets as I sell them quickly at shows. These are all hand made by myself and are all one of a kind. You might see similarities in a couple as I can usually get two out of a big vintage chenille bedspread but none are identical.

These jackets are perfect for the spring or fall or even a chilly summer night. Some are heavy weight chenille and some are light weight. I wear my chenille jacket around the house when I feel a little cold, it’s better than letting the mailman catch me in my robe for a 3rd day in a row.

The measurements below are gotten by laying the jacket flat, so a 27" bust line is double that.

All these jackets are made from vintage chenille bedspreads and might have an imperfection or two. If you need specifics on any one piece, email me and I will go over it with a fine tooth comb and let you know exactly. I have more white ones coming up which will be added in about a week or 2. This chenille jacket is perfect to wear with jeans. It has cut and uncut tufts and is a heavier jacket. It is modeled by a size 12 but would fit up to a size 16 measuring 22" across with a 4" fold over and about 24" long. It has 2 outside pockets and is ready to wear. Priced at $65.00

This jacket was made from a vintage Morgan Jones rosebud bedspread. It is the same size as most of the ones below measuring 22" across with a 4" fold over and about 24" long. It has 2 outside pockets and the fabric is in excellent condition. It is modeled by a size 12 but would fit up to about a size 16. Priced at $95.00

This white chenille jacket is made from an uncut tufted spread that looks kind of squiggley. It had a cute multiple short mop edge on the spread and I incorporated it into the bottom of the jacket. Most of these jackets are the same size, modeled by a size 12 but will fit up to a 16. The bust measures 22" across with a 4" fold over with the jacket being about 24" long. Priced at $65.00 I have more white jackets in the works if this one isn't quite what you want.

This jacket is made from another handmade spread and is also perfect with jeans. The backing material is fairly heavy so it isn't light, light weight. It is a light weight jacket though. This has inside pockets so as not to spoil the design, I put pockets in all my jackets. It is basically the same size as most of the rest measuring 22" across with a 4" fold over and about 24" long. It is modeled by a size 12 but will fit up to a 16. Priced at $55.00 This jacket is sold but I have another similar one ready to sew up.

This jacket is not chenille but made from a vintage bedspread. It was a heavy double woven spread of pink and white. It's very soft and comfortable. My outside pictures washed out the texture and color of the fabric so I took one inside on my model which shows the pattern and color. This is the same size as the others measuring 22" across with a 4" foldover and 24" long. The model is a size 12 but it will fit up to a 16. Priced at $50.00

This is a brightly colored chenille jacket, both the backing and chenille. The main color is peach a nice bright peach. This has inside pockets so as not to spoil the flower appearance. It is in the same size as the others modeled by the cheif cook and bottle washer around here who is a size 12. It will fit up to a 16. It measures 22" across with a 4" fold over and about 24" long. Price on this jacket is $65.00

This chenille jacket is peach and white, cut and uncut chenille. It measures 22" across the bust with a 4" fold over, and 24" long. This is a lighter weight jacket but very pretty, the sun took away from the color. It should easily fit up to a size 16 but is modeled by a size 12. I've got to find the chenille, buy it, cut it, sew it, and now model it. That's why I look so mean. Priced at $45.00

This jacket is made from a handmade spread in lavender and white on white. It measures 22" across the bust line with a 4" fold over in the front. It is about 24" long. This should fit up to a size 16 but is being modeled by a size 12, I'm not really that mean looking. I had to crop my head off of most as I looked so mean. This is a lightweight jacket and priced at $55.00

This great looking jacket is fresh for the fall season. It has two inside pockets and will fit most anyone from a small size up to about a 16. I will be happy to adjust the sleeves before it goes out if need be. The color is a slightly burnt orange with a creamy white, almost a winter white. No noted damage to the chenille or backing. Price $55.00

Pretty blue and peachy pink flowers adorn the front of this medium size chenille jacket. It should fit between and 8 and 16 modeled on a 12. This lighter weight jacket has two inside pockets. It goes great with light colored jeans as it has many blue accents. I saw no damage to the chenille and it's priced at $55.00.

This is another cute floral chenille jacket from my new pattern. It should fit up to a size 16 but will work on a much smaller person too. This has two inside pockets. The chenille is a medium light weight. The flowers are peach, blue and aqua green. I found a couple of small holes while sewing it up and repaired them, it doesn't show but due to that it's priced at $45.00

The Irish is in all when you wear this green and white chenille zip-up jacket. It is nice and warm and bold in appearance. The sholders measure 21" across, the bust is 24" across, the length is 27" with roll up sleeves.

It's solf and cuddly plus nice and warm. Price $55.00
